School Holiday Program – Legacy of Aboriginal Women
2018 NAIDOC Week celebrates the invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made to our communities. Koori Kinnections present the two activities at MOSAIC.
School Holiday Program for Kids – Legacy of Aboriginal Women: Wednesday 11 July 10am-12pm. Fee: $5. Suitable for children aged 5 and over. Hands on session learning about tools, weapons and plants, face painting with okra, dancing and art work.

Thousands of years ago things like takeaway restaurants, fridges and microwaves didn’t exist. Yet Australia’s people had no problem keeping their tummies full of healthy food! We’ll have a go at making our own lunch using bush tucker plants and campfire cooking, just like indigenous children might have done in Sydney way back then.
