Join a tour of Sydney Town Hall led by international students
In September over 100 international students attended our tours and they are raving about them.
If you haven’t attended one, here’s your chance to join our international student volunteer tour guides to learn more about Sydney’s Town Hall and meet new friends.

150 YEARS OF CELEBRATING MAHATMA GANDHI
Join us in Jubilee Park on Wednesday 2 October to celebrate International Day of Non-Violence.
Activites include:
- Community performances and entertainment
- Mahatma Gandhi Exhibition in the Harry Todd Band Hall
- Chai tea and Indian sweets available
Guests are invited to bring a garland offering to be placed at the foot of the Mahatma Gandhi statue located in Jubilee Park.

Description:
Do you need to take your Microsoft Office skills to the next level? This course is ideal if you have completed an Introduction to Microsoft Office course or have had previous experience with Microsoft Office but wish to expand your skills and knowledge. Whether it be for personal or work use, our Intermediate Microsoft Office course will enable you to further improve your understanding of Microsoft Office to enhance your productivity and efficiency.
You will learn skills including word processing with Microsoft Word, spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, and digital communication using Microsoft Outlook.
This Microsoft Office course is aligned with units of competency found in the BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration course. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment.
Microsoft Word
How to use intermediate level application functions to enable efficient production of word documents. Use relevant help functions to overcome intermediate issues with document design and production.
Microsoft Excel
How to produce intermediate level charts, select chart type and design that offers analysis of numerical data, modify chart type and layout using formatting features.
Microsoft Outlook
How to use digital technologies to communicate remotely and identify methods for digital communication. Recognises and responds to routine problems in context of own work.

- Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder
- Aged 15 years or older, no longer at school, and living or working in NSW

Back by popular demand Ku-ring-gai Youth Services are working with the Gordon Library once again this year to bring young people during the HSC lock-in a place to unwind and have a breather from their studies.
Head down to AWOL Youth Hub and come hang out.
With Guitar Hero, Wii Sports, crafts, giant games, table tennis, computers and Wi-Fi let us take your mind off studying for a bit.
Dinner will be served at 7pm and hot beverages at 8.30pm.

This is a FREE family friendly workshop and is for Blacktown residents only. Places are limited so booking is essential.
