Join us in the square every 15 minutes from 8am to 10pm daily to help the digital Cherry Blossom tree bloom by playing a series of AR games including a Taiko drumming circle, Calligraphy dancing or the Nara Park deer encounter.

Share your Cherry Blossom moment with #WSqCherryBlossom on Facebook or Instagram for your chance to win major weekly prizes, a $500 Coles voucher, a Medibank Prize Pack valued at $500 and a Samsung S9+ Phone.

Cultural activities will run through the last 2 weeks of the festival. Activities include traditional Japanese drumming, calligraphy performances, personalised origami and bonsai workshops, and traditional Yosaki Soran dancing.

Visitors can also test their paper-folding skills and contribute to the 1,000 cranes origami challenge, brew matcha flavoured tea with T2 or make their own sushi with Sushi Hub.
