Kevinwood Sunday Afternoon Concert – Concert 2
The second of four Sunday afternoon concerts.
Easy listening programme of music with special feature being works of Haydn including:
- Toy Symphony
- Surprise Symphony
- Choral work Te Deum.
Also on the programme is beautiful “Moldau” of Smetana, the Muppet Caper, and a feast of music from the Kevinwood Bells – performing both off-table and four-in-hand.
ALL WELCOME. Afternoon tea included.

Blacktown Fresh Food Fair
Join us for the monthly Blacktown Fresh Food Fair! We will be celebrating all things Easter at the next Fresh Food Fair! Come and meet the Easter Bunny and participate in the Easter crafts area!
The Blacktown Fresh Food Fair will be held on the first Sunday of each month. The Village Green will be transformed into a farmer’s wonderland with the very best fresh food that Blacktown and Western Sydney has to offer.
There will be an abundance of fresh produce, local eggs, homemade items, local honey, plants, flowers, preserves, herbs and spices, jams and chutneys and many more amazing stalls.
Bring along the family to enjoy a bacon and egg roll, supporting our local Lions and Rotary Clubs. With live performances from local talent, coffee and free face painting- there is something for everyone!
Kids can enjoy a hands-on farm experience in our free petting zoo, with an array of farm animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, lambs, chooks, and even a calf and mini pony!
We are committed to ensuring our events are managed with minimal impact on the environment in line with our sustainable events policy. Please remember to bring your reusable shopping bags for any purchases made at the event.
Parking
Due to the the partial closure of Westpoint Shopping Centre Car Park, parking is now available in Colo Lane in addition to Blacktown Council Civic Centre and Warrick Lane. To avoid congestion in the CBD, please refer to map below for suggested route.

Description:
The Tech Savvy Seniors program assists seniors who have limited or no previous experience in using technology to learn new skills for the future.
The training is free and will help older people to access information and stay connected with their family, friends and communities.
This program consists of eight weekly sessions presented in Korean held on the following Wednesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am:
- Wednesday 8 May – Introduction to the Internet (part 1)
- Wednesday 15 May – Introduction to the Internet (part 2)
- Wednesday 22 May – Introduction to email
- Wednesday 29 May – Introduction to iPads/tablets
- Wednesday 5 June – Introduction to smartphones
- Wednesday 12 June – Introduction to social media
- Wednesday 19 June – Introduction to cyber safety
- Wednesday 26 June – Introduction to online banking
Limited places. Bookings are essential.
By booking into this program you confirm your attendance at all eight sessions on Wednesdays 8, 15, 22, 29 May, and 5, 12, 19, 26 June.

The Finders Keepers returns to Barangaroo for 3 huge days from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 May. The Finders Keepers Market is Australia’s favourite design and makers market. It continues to have a commitment to community and conscious shopping.
Discover more than 200 stalls featuring unique work from local and interstate creatives plus food and entertainment all weekend. There’s happy hour at the bar on Friday from 3pm to 5pm and shopping into the night until 9pm.
The market magic then continues Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Head along to support small creative businesses!

During this 4 week course you’ll use the latest hardware and software available in our dedicated studio facility.
